Dinner in the oven, laundry going and I sit here in peace savoring the joy that is ours. Simply relaxing in the same room, not a word spoken, listening to the oldies. Simple pleasures go such a long way when you care for someone. Hoping this feeling doesn’t fade, but knowing if it does it is worth everything just for this moment.
